Abhishek Bachchan May Play Rajiv Gandhi

Abhishek Bachchan might play Rajiv Gandhi, who was also a very good friend of his father Amitabh Bachchan , in a movie that will expose the plot behind 1991 assassination of former Prime Minister.
Notwithstanding the fact that the Gandhis and Bachchans are at the moment at loggerheads, especially politically, the film becomes even more exciting as it will feature Abhishek (or Sanjay Dutt , who again is in the inner circle of the Bachchans and was one of the select film industry invitees to the Abhishek – Aishwarya Rai wedding last month) in the lead.

Aishwarya-Abhishek to paint together

It will be quite literally a 'colourful' start to the domestic lives of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan after their one month long honeymoon.
The newly married couple will devote their time to a social cause by teaming up with Abhi's cousin Namrita Bachchan (Ramola Bachchan's daughter), a painter by profession, to paint a canvas that will be auctioned to raise money for the NGO Khushii.
Although the auction will take place in October, work on the painting will begin soon.
Since both Abhishek and Aishwarya are not very skilled in the art, Namrita will take the lead and conceptualize the painting.

Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sarkar's next

On Monday evening, ad filmmaker-turned-director Shoojit Sircar and top guys of UTV left Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu bungalow Janak, smiling. The news instantly brewed speculations of revival of the 'almost shelved' Johny Walker .
Shoojit Sircar says, "UTV guys came to meet Mr Bachchan for some other purpose. I happened to be around at the same time. It was just a coincidence that they left with me."

Rahul Bose and Abhishek Bachchan may soon have a battle of sorts at the silver screen, though spaced out by a week.
A week after the release of JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, a small film titled CHAIN KULLI KI MAIN KULLI [CK2MK] is expected to hit the screens. The leading man in the film? Rahul Bose. Directed by debutant Kituu Salooja, CK2MK is a children's film and revolves around the relation between Rahul Bose and child actor Adil Badshah with cricket as a backdrop.
